Sozo is a Faith Community Nurse Program with a focus on the underserved. We are bridging the gap between the medical and faith communities to promote wholeness in body, mind and spirit.

Through preventative education and awareness we build and strengthen the capabilities and broaden capacities of individuals and families to take an active role in not just their health and well-being, but in that of their community. We do this through education, counseling, advocacy and community referral.

Sozo, the Greek word for saved. It means rescued, delivered, kept safe, preserved and healed. In other words, "being made well in body, mind, and spirit".
